Job Description

UniFirst Corporation’s Leadership Development team has an opening for a Learning and Development Coordinator . We are looking for an organized, resourceful individual, with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to handle multiple responsibilities. In this role, you will support the smooth and timely rollout of all Leadership Development Programs for in-person and virtual sessions.

As the Learning and Development Coordinator , you will work closely with Program/Project Managers on logistical, administrative, or technical support throughout all phases of the development process. During this process, the goal is to ensure that the program/course launches in a flawless manner to the intended audience. The Training Coordinator should be able to multi-task across various projects and tasks as needed, work autonomously with little direction, has the ability to build strong relationships, and is able to shift gears at a moment's notice. The Training Coordinator should be comfortable embracing new and existing technologies. The position will work on various technologies including administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), survey tools and other tools as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and create program materials such as name tags, class rosters, flip charts, etc.
  • Create and compile program evaluation results and participant training reports.
  • Assemble class materials for participants and presenters.
  • Coordinate training program logistics like plant tours, receptions, speakers, etc.
  • Provide technical liaison support during in-person and virtual programs.
  • Coordinate travel and dining logistics for training participants.
  • Ensure materials are accurate and up to date in partnership with Program Managers and Subject Matter Experts.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of marketing materials, reports, surveys, etc.
  • Track attendance and completion statuses.
  • Support the online portion of the program by using SharePoint; entails setting up site and users, uploading program documents, etc.
Qualifications

Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in providing administrative support or 2+ years of customer service experience.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
