Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?Job Summary The Manager-on-Duty is responsible for directing supervisory staff, overseeing staffing needs, and managing discipline and corrective actions for team members. They ensure customer satisfaction through daily feedback and act as a bridge between first-level supervisors and upper management. The Manager-on-Duty monitors employee performance to meet standards in customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality, and employee relations. They maintain operations in line with corporate security and TSA regulations. They ensure compliance with all audit processes and implement the site-specific security plan. All WFS staff must receive and display their company ID badge. The Manager-on-Duty enforces practices fairly, treating all employees, customers, vendors, and others with respect.Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate ramp activities during assigned shifts.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and TSA regulations in real-time operations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for on-shift ramp team and address immediate operational concerns.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and ensure staff is aware of daily goals and expectations.
• Respond to and manage emergencies or irregular operations.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of baggage and cargo, ensuring timely departures.Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; additional certifications in aviation or management are a plus.
• 3+ years of ramp service experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Familiarity with FAA, TSA, and airport operations guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.Preferred Skills
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with airline ramp service equipment and operations.Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
• Must work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
• Physically capable of lifting and handling items up to 70 lbs.
