Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Director to lead and innovate in the strategic direction and operations of our Information Technology department. This role will be crucial in aligning IT initiatives with business objectives, fostering technological innovation, and ensuring the seamless integration of IT solutions to support the organization's growth. Reporting directly to the CFO, the IT Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the IT strategy for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a forward-thinking IT strategy that supports business goals and is scalable for future growth.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, offering insights and recommendations on leveraging technology to drive business success.
Lead the development of IT governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with company policies, risk management practices, and regulatory standards.
Oversee all IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, third-party vendors, and telecommunications, ensuring optimal reliability and efficiency.
Manage resource planning, budgeting, and performance evaluation to meet both current and future technology needs.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track IT effectiveness and regularly report progress to the CFO and executive leadership.
Build and nurture a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This includes overseeing hiring, training, and professional development initiatives.
Evaluate, select, and implement the latest technologies that enhance business processes, improve efficiency, and elevate the customer experience.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to create a competitive advantage.
Develop and implement robust cybersecurity and data protection strategies to safeguard critical assets and customer information.
Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning to minimize risks and ensure the organization's resilience in the face of challenges.
Act as the key liaison between IT and business units, collaborating with department heads to identify technology needs, align priorities, and promote the adoption of tools that drive productivity and efficiency.
Fully support the organization's core values, policies, and objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred).
10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership, with at least 5 years in strategic roles.
Proven experience in leading large-scale IT projects and managing cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of IT governance, infrastructure, and emerging technology trends.
Familiarity with systems and platforms such as Syteline, Power BI, Salesforce, SQL, etc.
Detail-oriented with excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong focus on strategic thinking, execution, and fostering innovation.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation: $150,000 to $180,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and other factors.
Annual Profit-Sharing: This position includes an annual incentive bonus as part of our compensation package.
