We are seeking a dedicated and organized Inventory Associate  Manages Inventory Process to restock or replenish warehouse inventory as it draws down due to member purchases. The Inventory Controller position manages assigned product lines with major responsibilities in achieving and maintaining a 95% in stock level, while also achieving budgeted inventory levels within a multi-deadline driven environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in warehouse management, comfortable operating a forklift, and other warehouse equipment. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach.

• Responsible for running usage reports and determining replenishment needs.
• In conjunction with the assigned category manager, manages a specific vendor book, assigned product lines, to deliver a 95% total fill rate for our members.
• Manages inventory process to ensure seasonal ordering, holiday sales protection, manages trade show and special promotional activity and sales.
• Generate weekly stock level reports and specific usage reports to identify items that are falling below minimum stock levels.
• Maintains and manages profitable inventory to achieve budgeted levels.
• Liaison with Sales on products, promotions, and special offerings.
• Analyze stock levels versus current order activity, trends, and market demand to recommend optimal replenishment practices and inventory levels.
• Analyze reports to identify overstock situations. Determines causal factors and works with Marketing & Sales to develop sales and promotions strategies to rectify the situation and achieve financial objectives.
• Manages in full compliance and utilization of our warehouse inventory management system.

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in purchasing and inventory controlling in the retail or distribution industry
• Numerical and analytical aptitude
• Highly detail oriented
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to think and respond quickly and intelligently
• Working knowledge with ERP systems
• Excellent organizational skills
• Certified on all equipment necessary to perform duties
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.

• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged periods working in front of a computer and occasionally performing physical labor.
