(Physician/MD qualifications required) Anesthesiology (Interventional Pain) - We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated interventional pain physician to join our esteemed team, focused on delivering top-tier patient care through evaluation and execution of pain and spinal procedures.
This is an excellent opportunity offering both part-time and full-time positions. The part-time role will involve travel between our Nassau County offices (2 days a week), while full-time candidates will have the opportunity to work across our Nassau and Suffolk County locations.
**Locations:** Bellerose and Valley Stream in Nassau County, and Medford in Suffolk County. We are equipped with a C-Arm at one of our Nassau locations, enabling us to perform certain procedures in-house while others will take place at a state-of-the-art surgical center.
**Experience:** Previous experience handling No Fault, Workers Compensation, and personal injury cases is highly desirable.
**Qualifications:**
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management preferred.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine (American Board of Anesthesiology, American Board of Pain Medicine, or a similar entity).
- Valid New York State medical license.
**Compensation:**
- Competitive W2 Base Salary commensurate with your skills and experience, plus a lucrative productivity bonus.
- Starting salary for full-time positions ranges from $300,000 to $350,000 annually.
- Part-time roles will offer a competitive hourly rate plus a productivity bonus.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients suffering from acute to chronic pain conditions.
- Deliver comprehensive patient care encompassing interventional treatments, including pre-procedure education, informed consent, and meticulous post-procedure monitoring.
- Perform a wide range of interventional pain and spine procedures.
- Ensure exceptional clinical productivity while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
**Ideal Candidate Profile:**
- Proven experience in interventional pain management with a specialization in pain and spine procedures.
- A valid and clear New York medical license.
- In-depth, up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment planning.
- Experience working with a diverse patient and payer mix, including Workers Compensation, personal injury, and no-fault cases, is highly advantageous.
