Summary

Learn & Grow Creative Arts Center LLC is an inclusive, secular school located in Hermitage, TN. Learn & Grow offers a creative curriculum with a focus on a STEAM based academic approach including ASL, art, dance, English language arts, geography, music, science, Spanish, outdoor exploration, and much more.

L&G CAC is currently accepting applications for an Infant Teacher to join our amazing team! Each teacher has a set schedule between the hours of 7am-5pm. This position has a typical schedule of 8-430p M-F.

Duties

• Develop a careful and creative program suitable for Infants/Toddlers
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.) to teach children
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
• Guide children to develop their social/emotional and developmental capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum
• Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Collaborate with other educators
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

Requirements

This position is immediate hire with the passing of a background check, completing the required online trainings, providing 3 references, and a physical. Applicants must have a copy of their HS diploma at a minimum. Experience teaching in childcare centers and knowledge of DHS rules with at least one year previous teaching experience preferred. All applicants will receive substantial on the job training once hired.
