TLM – Import Purchase Coordinator

What We’re Looking For:
A highly organized and detail-oriented Import Purchase Coordinator, who will be responsible for coordinating and managing the purchase of goods from international suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to meet company production schedules.
What Will You Do:
Purchase Coordination:
• Develop and maintain relationships with international suppliers to negotiate prices, delivery dates, and other terms of purchase in line with company policies and procedures.
• Track and monitor the status of orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that may arise with international shipments, such as customs clearance or freight forwarding.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory levels to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Communicate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods to meet production schedules.
• Assess and identify new suppliers to improve the company's supply chain and continuously monitor market trends and prices to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Review and analyze purchase orders and invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Import Coordination:
• Collaborate with logistics and finance departments to ensure smooth and efficient import operations.
• Stay informed of all relevant import/export regulations and customs requirements in the UAE and worldwide.
• Utilize supply chain management software to optimize import/export processes.
• Coordinating with the clearance team to arrange on-time shipment clearance process and receive the shipments on time.
What Talent Do You Bring:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 4+ years of experience in Purchase Coordination Role
• Knowledge of import regulations
• Strong understanding of UAE customs and regulations, and experience working in the UAE.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
