Job Description

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a mom in the Quail Hollow area of South Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Nanny for her 10-week-old girl. The nanny would typically be needed Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, with occasional overnight care, travel care (both domestic and international travel), and additional hours as requested. Flexibility is key, as the mom's schedule varies and she may have to go on work trips with short notice.

The ideal nanny for this family would be reliable, professional, flexible, and can provide expert care to the child. It is essential that the nanny is up-to-date on the latest in baby care, familiar with scheduling and routines, and understands developmental goals and milestones. Throughout the day, the nanny should meet and exceed the child’s needs, anticipate the child's needs, and foster a loving, educational, and stimulating environment. Currently, the baby is very young and enjoys babbling, being active, and exploring the world around her. Reading to her, engaging in developmental activities such as tummy time, going on strolls, and playing both indoors and outdoors, would be encouraged. The family is seeking a nanny who can join their family long-term and grow with them throughout the years.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing the child’s sheets weekly

• Restocking the Child’s laundry twice a day, morning

• Child’s bottle and meal prep

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Pre-wash and sterilize bottles

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

• Picking up after the child throughout the day

• Emptying the diaper pail

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Must have a valid passport and be able to travel

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on childhood vaccinations and the TDAP vaccine. The annual Flu vaccine is optional.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• Legal pay is offered at $30 an hour, negotiable depending on experience and expertise
