Mi Sueño Americano is hiring a bilingual paralegal with experience in immigration court filings and EOIR practice to support our Spanish-speaking clients. Our law firm doesn’t just process paperwork—we guide families to safety, stability, and success in the U.S.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file applications with EOIR and USCIS, including:
• I-589 (Asylum), I-360 (SIJS), 42B (Cancellation of Removal), PD requests
• I-485 (Adjustment of Status), DS-260, I-131, U Visas, and I-601A, I-212 waivers
• Translate and draft client declarations
• Assist with assembling, organizing, and managing legal documents and deadlines
• Communicate with clients in Spanish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Support the attorney in case preparation and client coordination
• Ask satisfied clients for Google reviews and client referrals to help others find the legal support they need
Qualifications:
• Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference
• 2+ years of experience in immigration Court
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Court and EOIR filing experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and general office technology
• Organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented
• Strong writing, translation, and proofreading skills
• Comfortable talking to clients about reviews and referrals in a respectful, service-oriented way
