Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will manage both our internal financial records and those of our clients, ensuring everything is accurate and compliant with relevant regulations. Your responsibilities will include recording transactions, maintaining financial documents, and supporting the preparation of financial reports. Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the appropriate daybook, supplier ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Reconcile bank statements and verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Maintain an organized, up-to-date financial filing system.
- Support audit processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Provide assistance during tax preparation and filing processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks) and Google Suite.
- Expertise in creating QBO rules for managing repetitive entries.
- Strong understanding of managing multiple companies and their books, particularly when handling related transactions and fund movements.
- In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and clients.
- Capability to organize daily tasks and ensure books are ready for tax preparation deadlines.
