Statement of Qualification (SOQ) Instructions
A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required for the hiring manager’s review. Applications submitted without an SOQ may be disqualified.
The SOQ should be no more than 2 pages in length, be clearly written and well-organized, single spaced, contain no more than four (4) grammatical and spelling errors, 1-inch margins, and Arial font, size 12.
Your SOQ should address the following:
1. Describe how your education and experience are complimentary to the desired qualifications and make you an excellent candidate to perform the duties of the position.
2. Describe your experience performing or managing environmental field activities (e.g., drilling, well installation groundwater monitoring, soil vapor sampling), and evaluating complex geology, hydrogeology, vapor intrusion, contaminant fate and transport data to support remedial investigation or action.
