Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking multiple eDiscovery Specialists to join their team. The eDiscovery Specialist will play a crucial role in delivering professional and innovative eDiscovery services to both internal and external clients. Responsibilities include managing multiple eDiscovery matters, providing Relativity support, delivering end-user training sessions, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience, advanced Relativity administration skills, and excellent customer service ethos. Candidates with a Relativity Certified Administrator certification will move to the front of the line. This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in office. Role PurposeThe eDiscovery Specialist will deliver excellent service to internal and external clients in respect of eDiscovery and other client data-related tasks. This role will report to the US eDiscovery Senior Manager.
Role and Responsibilities - Performing day-to-day activities of multiple, concurrent matters to meet or exceed budgeted billable hours
- Applying the firm’s best practice policies and guidelines to all eDiscovery matters including the routine application of advanced analytics and active learning
- Delivering high-quality customer service thereby fostering internal client relationships
- Assisting clients/lawyers in expediting data transfer utilizing media devices/SFTP including data logging
- Providing Relativity support including user access and security permissions, review workflow set-up and support, application of search logic and text analytics features and creation of native and/or tiff productions for disclosure
- Delivering end-user training sessions
- Proactively identifying and mitigating risks
- Establishing and maintaining solid working relationships with complementary firm services
- Contributing towards the continuous improvement of departmental working practices
- Maintaining and increasing industry-specific knowledge through software training, the firm’s courses and attendance at software demonstrations and other industry events
Key Requirements - Relevant experience required
- Advanced Relativity administration experience
- Hold or be willing to obtain the Certified Relativity Administrator credential
- Excellent customer-oriented service ethos
- Knowledge of the entire EDRM
- Experience with data processing tools such as Relativity or Nuix
- Understanding of forensic data preservation tools and techniques
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent attention to detail including working methodically
- Flexibility with respect to assigned tasks and engagements due to changing deadlines, deliverables, and task priorities
- Ability to work apace and under pressure
- Flexibility to work beyond office hours on occasion
- Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to travel
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Law advantageous
Expected salary for this non-exempt role is $90,000 - $111,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
