Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking an eDiscovery Junior Project Manager to join their Washington, DC office in a hybrid capacity. In this role, you will support individual case teams using litigation technologies under the guidance of eDiscovery Project Managers. Responsibilities include assisting with document preparation, creating Relativity workspaces, providing technical support to legal teams, managing project requirements, and staying current on industry developments. The ideal candidate will have a four-year college degree, some litigation experience, knowledge of Relativity and database applications, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assisting and consulting with eDiscovery Project Managers regarding best practices for the preparation of documents (hardcopy and electronic format) for the automation process
- Creating Relativity workspaces, loading data in Relativity workspaces, running searches and creating STRs in Relativity workspaces, and performing quality checks of document productions from Relativity workspaces at the direction of eDiscovery Project Managers
- Consulting with eDiscovery Project Managers on issues relating to proper document production formats, understanding the changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and best practices for document processing and production workflow
- Training and providing technical support to legal and paralegal teams staff on tasks related to eData applications (i.e., Relativity and Opus 2) including searching, exporting, loading transcripts, and other content to Opus 2, etc.
- Suggesting new approaches to eDiscovery project management by staying current with litigation support professional development
- Participating in roundtable discussions
- Staying current on vendor technologies changes
- Tracking, managing, documenting, and communicating workflow, project requirements, and deadlines for all assigned projects outsourced to eDiscovery vendors
- Managing project requests for technical support, working with Technical Operations as necessary
- Assisting with requests for new databases and assisting eDiscovery Project Managers in selecting and designing appropriate data structures, logging and documenting all requests, and monitoring and tracking databases, including eData Dashboard
- Managing production of data and modification of database structures and coordinating with eDiscovery Project Managers as necessary
- Attending case team meetings with eDiscovery Project Managers to learn about the specifics of the case team needs as they relate to document processing and production
- Assisting with database and workflow design
- Creating logins for firm standard eDiscovery applications for internal and external users
- Communicating with legal teams regarding workspaces for closed matters
- Managing tasks related to user licenses including email distribution list maintenance and management of departed and external user licenses
- Maintaining and updating information in Agility Blue databases including the eData Dashboard and the Internal Preservation and Collection workspace as directed by the eData Senior Managers
- Providing quality client service to all of the firm
Qualifications:- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Some experience in an active litigation environment preferred
- Knowledge of and familiarity with Relativity and one or more relational or transcript database applications
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take initiative when needed and demonstrate strategic focus

Expected salary for this exempt role is $80,000 - $100,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
