Montgomery College, Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus, has an immediate need for a full-time DSS Student Services Specialist , in the Disability Support Services (DSS) Department. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. This is an exempt, non-bargaining, grade 27 position. This position is eligible for telework one (1) day a week. This eligibility is subject to change based on the needs of the unit.
Under supervision and/or direction, oversee the daily operations of the academic support center for disability support services. The incumbents are responsible for delivering instructional and student support services to, students with disabilities. These services may include coordinating/providing tutoring, arranging scribes and other auxiliary services evaluating assistive technology needs/options, and providing academic skill development in the areas of time management, organization, and study strategies.
Regular contacts include counselors, faculty, staff, students, and the public to exchange information and to provide and receive direction.Duties include but are not limited to:

Hiring Range: $63,375-$82,376 annually. Initial salary placement for new hires falls between the minimum and midpoint of the range and is based on relevant candidate experience and internal equity. The maximum salary for this position is $101,377 annually.
