Job Description Drivers and warehouse employees are responsible for the following:
- One-year verifiable driving experience with a box truck or equivalent
- Practice safe driving skills at all times (obey all traffic laws)
- Make sure customer signs packing list at time of delivery
- Monitor vehicle maintenance on vehicle safety logs - if maintenance is needed driver is responsible for informing branch manager
- Follow the Distribution Center's warehouse procedures when picking up product
- Load/unload trucks
- Pull orders in warehouse using forklift and/or push-cart
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements As a driver/warehouse employee, you must be able to meet the following requirements:
- Driving record clear of any major or repeated infractions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to load/unload truck at time of delivery
- Ability to sit for 20+ minutes at a time
- Ability to push/pull at least 50+ pounds
- Ability to climb up and down ladders
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, kneel
- Ability to handle large, odd shaped items and stock items in overhead areas
- Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen
