Job Description

Overview: Join a team responsible for processing incoming medical records-both electronic (fax/email) and physical (mail/drop-off). Your role ensures these records are accurately attached to the correct patient or client file and routed to the appropriate department (Legal, Billing, or Quality Control) for insurance or legal case handling. Key Responsibilities: + Receive and process medical records (electronic and physical) + Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness + Contact clients/patients (approx. 2 calls/day) to verify or clarify information + Route records to the appropriate team based on case type Required Skills: + Customer service and communication + Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) + Document processing and data entry + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office + Strong attention to detail Qualifications: + 2+ years of experience in medical records or similar field + Intermediate-level Excel skills + Experience in customer service preferred Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
