Nexeo is looking for a dedicated Disaster Recovery Technician to support our team in St. George , UT . This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with experience in residential renovation or construction (such as carpentry or painting) and a willingness to work full-time with on-call availability. Responsibilities
• Assist in setting up, operating, and breaking down equipment for mitigation projects.
• Transport equipment and materials to job sites and ensure proper handling.
• Perform water extraction, dehumidification, drying, and other basic mitigation tasks.
• Help remove damaged materials and debris, maintaining cleanliness at the work site.
• Operate and maintain disaster recovery equipment such as dehumidifiers, air movers, and pumps.
• Support in documenting damage assessments and reporting to the lead technician.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in residential construction or renovation, such as finish carpentry or painting preferred.
• Ability to work in potentially hazardous conditions.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work full-time with flexibility for on-call hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to operate truck for transporting tools and materials to job sites preferred.
Pay
$18.00 -$20.00 Per Hour | DOE
Schedule
Day Shift | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Monday - Friday
*Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
