Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Broken Arrow. This role involves maintaining and repairing a variety of machinery vehicles and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on engines motors pneumatic tools conveyor systems and production machines by following technical documentation and specifications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in diesel and gas vehicles hydraulics and shop equipment such as bending machines cutters table saws air compressors and sewer systems.
• Identify problems by observing equipment in operation and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Dismantle devices to remove defective parts using hoists cranes hand tools and power tools; inspect parts for wear or defects.
• Adjust and repair functional components and control instruments using tools such as levels plumb bobs and straightedges.
• Minimize downtime by advising production workers on preventive maintenance techniques and ensuring compliance.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance reports by analyzing trends and documenting actions.
• Communicate and document actions and irregularities to ensure continuity among work teams.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures rules and regulations.
• Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift bend climb stretch twist and reach with arms and legs.
• Must work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat and cold.
• Exposure to fumes vibrations and high noise levels.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working on equipment up to two stories high with no fear of heights.
