Temporary, Part-time Position

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Under the direction of the Facility Rental/Community Programs Supervisor, assist classified staff in performing a variety of general clerical duties in support of programs such as:
  • Answer and directcallstoappropriateoffices;provideroutineinformationandassistance;takeand transmit messages as requested; direct inquiries and visitors to the proper person or office
  • Receive, greet and direct visitors. Respond to inquiries and provide general information to staff, faculty, students, parents and the general public.
  • Assist with data input and maintaining automated records; generating computerized lists and reports as requested and maintain confidentiality.
  • Communicate with COM staff, students and faculty and outside agencies to exchange information and resolve issues or concerns; read and respond to emails as appropriate.
  • Monitorinventorylevelsofofficesupplies;assistwithordering,receivingandmaintaining inventory of office and food supplies.
  • Assist with Community Programs activities and events, such as helping with signage and information regarding Summer Lap Swim and Miwok events.


REQUIREMENTS:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and one (1) year related work experience

LOCATION/SCHEDULE :
Campus: Indian Valley Campus
Schedule : Summer Hours 25 hours/week ; Monday-Friday 11-4, Fall Hours 15 hour weekly

ANTICIPATED START DATE : ASAP

HOURLY RATE: $18

CLEARANCES: Prior to employment, the successful candidate must successfully pass a fingerprint and tuberculin clearance.
