Meet the Team

We are the Data Center Network Services team within Cisco IT that supports network services for Cisco Engineering and business functions worldwide. Our mission is simple - build the network of the future that is adaptable and agile on Cisco’s Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), a software-defined networking solution. ACI is deployed, monitored, and managed with a DevOps approach to support rapid application changes.  We invest in transformative technologies that enable us to deliver services in a fast and reliable manner. 

Your Impact:

• You will design, develop, test and deploy DC network SDN capabilities within Data Center Network.

• You are engaging and comfortable collaborating with fellow engineers across multiple disciplines as well as internal clients.

Our minimum qualifications for this role:

• Bachelor of Engineering or Technology with a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, deploying, operating and managing scalable DC network infrastructure

• Experience on managing and supporting large scale DC networking technologies and experience in technologies like Routing, switching, SDN / ACI, Nexus, VPC, VDC, VLAN, VXLAN, Local load balancer, Global load balancer, application Firewall, etc.

• CCNA certification

Our Preferred qualifications for this role

• Possess strong DC network technology skills with experience with atleast 2 years of experience using Python and Ansible

• High level understanding of private/public cloud.

• Familiarity with DevOps principles, Comfortable with Agile practices

• Basic understanding of Unix/Linux

• Basic knowledge, understanding of Git and REST API.

• Working experience with HW/Platform: Nexus, Cisco IOS, Experience on handling incident, problem and change management

• CCNP or CCIE is a plus
