Position: Azure Data Engineer with Power BI Experience
Location: Redmond, WA on-site
Duration: 6+ Months
Responsibilities:
6-10 years of experience as Azure Data Engineer and people management, experienced in having cross-group collaborations skills, with the ability lead and coordinate the Planning, Execution and Release activities for sprint releases
Work closely with planning, engineering, and business teams to prepare release plans and track milestones completed on time and with quality.
Maintain project health dashboards and provide awareness with respect to project health metrics
Drive regular rhythm with engineering teams and stakeholders as needed to ensure issues, action items and risks are tracked and have mitigation and resolution plans in place.
Help bridge the gap across project stakeholders and dependencies.
Plan and attend daily, weekly meetings and monthly governance calls.
Good communication skills and should be able handle tasks individually.
Required:
Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics.
Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Scala, or other programming languages.
Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
Develop, maintain, and automate dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and deliver insights that solve real-world problems
Build and maintain data models and pipelines to support reporting and analysis
Support experimentation (A/B testing) and advanced analytics initiatives (e.g., predictive modeling)
Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices
Experience with machine learning basics or predictive analytics is a plus
Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics365, SAP)
Understanding of distributed systems and big data concepts.
