Job Description

Commercial Lender:

A community bank with a location on South Shore is adding a Commercial Loan Officer to its team. The person hired will have a minimum of two years of experience in commercial lending or a minimum of three years of experience in commercial credit analysis. This position originates, evaluates, and prepares loans in compliance with established guidelines, is responsible for marketing loan products, maintains loan relationships with borrowers, and develops new business in the Fargo community. This individual should succeed in working in a positive, team-oriented environment, contributing to the bank's ongoing success. This bank offers competitive wages and a great work/life balance. Responsibilities:

Identify and cross-sell a wide range of commercial banking services by following a proactive sales and business development plan
Develop new loans and manage the existing loan portfolio
Maintain an ongoing business development program to assist existing customers and solicit new customers to the bank
Monitor loan portfolio & loan repayment activities and take necessary action to collect from past-due accounts

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred
Must have a proven track record in business development
Current or recent employee of a community bank or credit union
Involved in community events and committees
