Job Description:

As a CNC Operator , you will play a vital role in the production process by setting up, programming, and operating CNC machinery to create precision components for our custom garage doors. Working closely with the production team, you’ll ensure that every component meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture garage door components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders to determine machine settings and specifications.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure precision, quality, and efficiency, adjusting settings as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Assist with other manufacturing tasks as required to support the team.

Qualifications and Abilities:

• Proven experience operating a Weeke Vantech 3-Axis Router with an automatic tool changer.
• Familiarity with WoodWOP software to run preprogrammed jobs and modify tool code assignments as needed.
• Knowledge of working with composite materials and wood, with a focus on precision and quality.
• Strong understanding of tool changes and tool code assignment adjustments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
