Job Description: Buyout Investment Analyst

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Buyout Investment Analyst to join our private equity team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in evaluating executing and managing buyout investments across diverse industries. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills a passion for private equity and the ability to thrive in a collaborative and fastpaced environment.

Key Responsibilities: Investment Analysis and Research:

• Conduct detailed market research and industry analysis to identify buyout investment opportunities.
• Evaluate potential investments through financial modeling valuation analysis and due diligence.
• Assess target companies business models competitive positioning and growth potential.
• Prepare comprehensive investment memos and presentations for internal investment committee discussions.

Transaction Support:

• Assist in all aspects of transaction execution including financial structuring negotiation and legal documentation.
• Collaborate with external advisors including legal accounting and consulting firms to support due diligence efforts.
• Analyze historical and projected financial statements to determine deal viability and risk factors.

Portfolio Management:

• Monitor portfolio companies performance analyzing financial and operational metrics.
• Work with management teams of portfolio companies to implement growth and valuecreation strategies.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing portfolio performance and strategic updates for stakeholders.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with senior team members to refine investment strategies and identify new opportunities.
• Contribute to sector theses and strategic frameworks that guide the firms investment approach.

Qualifications: Educational Background:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Administration or a related field (required).
• Strong academic track record with coursework in financial analysis accounting and business strategy.

Professional Experience:

• 1 3 years of experience in private equity investment banking management consulting or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience in financial modeling deal analysis or transaction execution is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills including experience with DCF LBO and comparable company analysis.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and financial databases (e.g. PitchBook Capital IQ).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create compelling presentations and reports.
