The Role: Midlevel Litigation Associate | Seattle, WA
We are seeking a talented Midlevel Litigation Associate to join a highly regarded international law firm in its Seattle office. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated business litigation matters in a collaborative and supportive environment, both locally and nationally.

In this position, you will:

  • Represent clients in complex business litigation matters in federal and state courts.
  • Manage large-scale litigation cases, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and legal briefs with precision.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients and collaborate with cross-office teams to deliver innovative legal solutions.
  • Participate in alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation and arbitration.
  • Contribute to the firms inclusive and collegial culture by mentoring junior attorneys and engaging in community initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience and Expertise

  • Years of Practice: 35 years of experience in complex business litigation.
  • Judicial Clerkship: Clerkship experience is preferred but not required.
  • Law Firm Experience: At least two years in a litigation role at a reputable law firm.

Educational Credentials

  • Juris Doctor (JD): Degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • Bar Membership: Active Washington State bar license or eligibility to waive in.

  • Proven ability to manage sophisticated litigation matters effectively.
