Team & Role Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join First Street as a member of our sales team. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers, partnering with Account Executives to build pipeline and drive revenue growth. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute on strategies to expand our market reach and drive our mission forward.
As a member of the sales team, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, making this a critical role in our sales process. This position requires a passionate, urgent and positive individual who can communicate the importance of our mission and contribute to our growth.

What you’ll need:
1-3 years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in the financial services, technology or data industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision makers
Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Self-motivated and driven, with a strong work ethic and desire to success in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools
Curiosity and willingness to learn about climate change and First Street’s product offerings
Education minimum requirement - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline

Experience in working with technology companies in the banking, asset owner or asset management verticals
An analytical mindset with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical solutions
