Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our fully remote team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records and is committed to delivering excellent work every day. Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain clean and accurate financial records for clients
- Use QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop to perform bookkeeping tasks
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Review financial reports to ensure accuracy and identify inconsistencies in income/expense accounts
- Prepare and file Sales & Use, Property, and City/County Annual Taxes
- Manage payroll processing and ensure timely payment of payroll taxes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and accurate financial reporting
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills and an ability to multitask

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Solid understanding of financial reports and the ability to extract specific information
- Ability to identify and resolve inconsistencies in financial records
- Experience with payroll management and tax filing
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive salary based on experience. While experience is a factor, we value your ability to meet high expectations and contribute effectively. Initially part-time, this role has the potential to transition to full-time once you've successfully completed your assessment period and demonstrate the ability to work independently.
