POSITION OVERVIEW
The Skyline Group is Looking for an experienced Audio-Visual design and project engineering professional. CTS-D preferred with a minimum 5 years of experience with another Engineering firm
The Audio-Visual Project Engineer will design and manage the installation of Audio-Visual Systems to support all core organizational areas throughout the entire lifecycle. This position plays an active role in the programming of spaces within a building with the architect and end users. The Audio-Visual Project Engineer will provide written documentation for design implementation, travel to customers work sites, provide work progress reports from the beginning of design through the end of construction projects, provided coordination for design details and project progress.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary job responsibilities include:
Design and implement Corporate IT, AV and security Infrastructure for Commercial Buildings.
Coordinate and facilitate program meeting with end users and A/V management.
Make recommendations for current technologies.
Coordinate with Architect and MEP Engineers.
Experience with Renovations and new build projects.
Plan and design automated processes and workflows to streamline and simplify IT design tasks.
Coordinate design details with all other construction disciplines involved with a project.
Manage the flow of deliverables with-in house personnel as well as clients and other disciplines.
Coordinate the development and revisions of AV drawings and specifications.
Coordinate and issue RFP documents suitable for bid to multiple providers.
Evaluation and recommendations for bid responses.
REQUIREMENTS
B.S. (or higher-level degree) in Computer Science or a similar engineering program with strong academic performance preferred.
InfoComm CTS-D
5+ years of experience as a Technology Engineer in medium to large design firm.
Advanced Technical Writing and excellent communication skills.
Well-versed in MS Office365 and/or Exchange 2013
Work comfortably with MS Visio
Have excellent knowledge of building drawings and ability to coordinate with AutoCAD operators.
