This office-based position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic design team and clients and contribute to transformative residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the design team and clients from Schematic Design to Construction Documents.
  • Measure existing homes and create accurate 'as-built' models.
  • Engage with clients to discuss design considerations and incorporate feedback.
  • Create conceptual and schematic models/drawings for client review.
  • Develop detailed construction documents for permitting and coordinate with local building departments.
  • Stay proficient in CAD modeling platforms, including Revit, Chief Architect, and other CAD platforms, and embrace learning new software.
  • Ensure adherence to residential design principles, construction techniques, and building codes.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedules and delivering high-quality work.
  • Must be open to working within our proven system to design high-quality renovations that meet our clients' needs and expectations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Architecture.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of verifiable experience in residential wood-frame construction (remodeling experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in CAD modeling software (Revit, Chief Architect, AutoCAD).
  • Knowledge of residential design principles, construction techniques, and building codes.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills, a great attitude, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Portfolios are a plus.
