Position Overview: Architectural Designer
Domain by Jackson Dawson/Cityscape Architects is seeking an Architectural Designer to support the creation of design development and construction drawings. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficient in AutoCAD, and experienced in producing commercial design drawings and understanding commercial construction methods.
Work Environment: Hybrid (3 days per week in the Novi, MI office)
Responsibilities
Create detailed design and construction drawings in AutoCAD based on design sketches, redlines, and guidance from senior team members.
Apply standard details and adapt prototype criteria to meet project-specific requirements.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Complete assignments as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
At least 1 year of experience in commercial and retail design.
Strong attention to detail, with experience in drawing coordination and quality control.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (required).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with Revit is preferred.
